Weed I.D. and Management Workshops

On 27th April, we are hosting two, *free* Weed Identification Workshops; come along to one or to both!

In the morning session we will examine samples brought from home and hear from; our local Council Weeds' Officer Chris Battersby, the NTLLS Regional Weeds' Coordinator Beth Brown and Professor of Weed Science at the UNE, Prof. Brian Sindel. In the afternoon we hit the outdoors with our experts and take a stroll around Tenterfield Park, finding weeds in the 'wild'. We will learn different methods of identification, native weeds versus exotic, what we can do to manage and monitor weeds and useful tools for the shed.
