National Landcare Programme Community Grants 2017/18

During 2017 - 2018, New England North West Landcare is delivering a Community Grants Program funded by the NAtion Landcare Programme. Funding is available across the Northern Tablelands region* only.

Grants are offered to give organisations, groups and individuals the financial capacity to support events, training or capacity building activities that increase community resilience.

*Armidale Regional, Glen Innes Severn, inverell, Tenterfield, Uralla & Walcha Local Government Areas

What Funding is Available?

Applications for grants from $2,000 (minimum) to $8,000 (maximum) excluding GST are invited until 5pm Monday 16th October 2017.

Eligible Activities

• succession planning;

• governance;

• mentoring;

• planning sessions;

• leadership development;

• farmer to farmer/peer to peer information exchange to facilitate practice change;

• fostering regenerating community groups; and/or

• partnership projects between community organisations, local government and/or schools.
