Future-Ready Farm Dams - Southern New England Landcare
Southern New England Landcare has launched Revive & Thrive: Future-Ready Farm Dams, a new project helping landholders improve farm dam health, water quality, biodiversity, livestock outcomes and drought preparedness.
Running for the next 12 months; the project includes practical workshops, farm dam demonstrations and opportunities to participate in farm dam greenhouse gas monitoring in partnership with RMIT University.
Of particular interest to landholders are upcoming workshops in Kentucky and Uralla, along with an opportunity to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to host a Farm Dam Enhancement Demonstration Site. Please note, demonstration site EOIs close 31 August 2026.
This project is supported by the NSW Government through the Landcare Enabling Program Phase 3 Innovations and Partnerships Grant Program.
