BIRDING ROUTES AROUND MINGOOLA

Welcome to Mingoola, a pastoral border region situated on the western slopes at the base of the Great Dividing Range, halfway between Tenterfield, NSW and Texas, QLD.

This handy pocket-sized, brochure, authored by Janet White with graphic design by Kerry Hardy (BlackSheep Studio) and many of the photos by Neil Fordyce, is not an identification guide but more a list of the many birds you might encounter in this region.  There are eight suggested driving loops with maps, driving directions and distances together with suggestions of what birds you should look out for at numbered locations along your drive.
