Wattle Day 2025

Wattle & Walk.

GBLC is planning on running another Wattle Day event this year on Thursday 4th of September.

This will be a walk through Tenterfield Park, with wattle ID experts on hand from Stanthorpe Rare Wildflower Consortium, Tenterfield Naturalists and our very own Granite Borders Landcare Committee.

Then we will have a talk on traditional uses of wattles and BBQ back at the Landcare Office.

Meet at the Landcare Office in Tenterfield - 45 Martin Street - before 10:15am to car pool to Tenterfield Park.

If you want to go to the park independently, let's meet at the East & Park Street entrance at the high end of Tenterfield Park.

We can travel back to the office together after our wattle walk.
