Waste to Worms Adventure

Community Greening is visiting the Community Growing Circle Landcare group on Tuesday 14th August. They will be discussing with us the concept of community composting and building worm farms. This is a Tag-along adventure, where we will be migrating through a few systems that model composting techniques and innovations.

Tenterfield Shire Council have donated an extra mega muncher farm to share between TAFE, the men’s shed and the Tenterfield Community Garden Landcare group, supporting this event.

The half day will meet at the Landcare Office on Martin Street by 11am. Numbers limited, so please RSVP by phone by Monday 13th August, to Gail: 0407 359 614.

Car pooling will be necessary in order to safely visit some of the sites.
