GBLC Christmas Party Picnic
Picnic Your Adventure | Saturday, 29th November, from 10am (Qld time/ AEST)
This year, you are invited to the Granite Borders Landcare Committee Christmas Party Picnic Your Adventure at Girraween National Park at the Visitor Centre (the picnic area is called Bald Rock Creek Day Use Area). Our end of year event will be held during the day on a Saturday in sunny Queensland. Before lunch, you have a chance to Pick Your own Adventure, such as:

Take a dip in Bald Rock creek, or just walk along the rocks and waterways

Pick a walking circuit: Pyramid Circuit Trail, Turtle Rock, or Mt Norman or other

Do a bird watching meander, with some of our expert Landcare Volunteer Birders

Do a plant ID meander, with some of our expert Landcare group members

Join a group of conversation nerds to play a choice of wordy games
-
Just relax and catch up with old and new friends
Whichever Adventure you choose, you must return to the picnic area by 12pm for lunch. Each Adventure Pathway group will be asked to share about their choice and experience - you may feel free to talk about your Pick-An-Adventure Pathway, or other Landcare events and activities that you or your Landcare group have been involved in during 2025.
