Eucalypt Workshop
One of our Landcare sub-groups the Stanthorpe Rare Wildflower Consortium, will be hosting a native plant day for Wattle Day - but with a focus on local Eucalyptus trees.
The day will include a keynote speaker from the University of Queensland, Professor Rod Fensham (Ecology, Environmental Science, Plant Biology). His talk will be held in the morning in the upstairs conference room of the Main Pavilion of the Stanthorpe Showground. This will be accompanied by Eucalyptus specimen displays for guided identification. The afternoon will include an afternoon field walk, looking at Eucalypts, in situ.
The day will include morning tea and lunch. There will be a modest fee (details to be released soon).
For more information, keep an eye on the Stanthorpe Wildflowers website, where further information will be uploaded soon.
