RFS Hotspots Ecological burns series | Tuesday 2nd & Thursday 4th December, Drake Community Hall
FREE two day workshop for landholders from the Drake and surrounding areas.
If you have bushland on your property, this program is for you!
The Hotspots Fire Project enables landholders and public land managers to work together to reduce bushfire risk across the landscape, whilst maintaining and improving biodiversity and protecting Cultural Heritage.

Discuss risk management and fire ecology

Understand how your neighbours and other land management agencies are managing fire

Receive a large aerial photo of your property to develop your own Fire Management Plan

Participate in field-based exercises and observe a demonstration burn

Contingency plan: The Hotspots Team can utilise a fire simulation for Thursday, in case conditions do not suit an ecological burn.
Meet at Drake Community Hall, Allison Street, Drake Village, NSW.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
