Landcare Photo Competition - Tenterfield Show 2026

Granite Borders Landcare are supporting the Tenterfield Show in 2026 (6th and 7th February) with an Australian Bushland series photo competition.
This Special Section will host 3 categories:
-
Category 10 - Native Flora
-
Category 11 - Native Fauna (including birds, reptiles, insects and mammals)
-
Category 12 - Creative Bush Theme Landscape/ pastoral/ people and human creations in nature.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for each category with prize money. There will also be cash prizes for Highly Commended entries.

Image specifications:
* Print your image on A4 size (19.7cm x 21cm) photographic paper;
* Label the back of your image with the following information:
1. Your name and best contact detail
2. The category you are entering the image (10, 11 or 12, see above)
3. The image title
* Mount your image on a black, white or coloured card, leaving a 2cm border for thumb tacks (so a card of 22cm x 23cm).
Entry instructions:
* Complete the 2026 Photography Entry form, either:
a) Online at 2026 Photography Tenterfield Show; or,
b) In person, when you submit your image(s)
* Submit your image(s) to the Tenterfield Show office at the showgrounds in Tenterfield BEFORE 11am on Thursday, 5th February
* Pay $1 per image entered (maximum of 3 entries).
* Collect your image(s) AFTER the show from the Reid Pavilion on Sunday the 8th February between 8:30am - 10:30am.
Winning entries will be used for a Granite Borders Landcare Calendar for 2027. So, you will need to be willing to make your entry available for that purpose after the Show.
Judging will occur on Thursday 5th from 1pm. All entries will be displayed at the Main Pavilion Photography Exhibition near the Granite Borders Landcare trade stall.
Prizes will be awarded by our judges, Lara Flannagan and Janet White, at the Granite Borders Landcare trade stall and Australian Bushland Series exhibition at 10am on Saturday, 7th February 2026.

This is your chance for artistic fame and fortune. There are three prizes in each of the three categories, as well as overall champion and highly commended. All winning entries will be placed in the Granite Borders Landcare Committee calendar for 2027, so please keep this in mind, as a condition of entry.
